What is AiNoter?

AiNoter is a macOS app for storing and organizing reusable prompts and text snippets, so you can copy them instantly and paste anywhere.

Is AiNoter available offline?

Yes, AiNoter is built to work entirely offline. Your data stays on your Mac, and no internet connection is required for its core functionality.

Does AiNoter collect my data?

No, AiNoter is privacy-focused. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or usage analytics. Your data remains on your device.

How do I organize my prompts?

Organize prompts using folders and favorites, and find anything quickly with fast search.

Can I use keyboard shortcuts?

Yes. You can configure hotkeys for copying prompts, plus a separate hotkey to open the Quick Access window.

What is the Quick Access window?

Quick Access is a minimal window with a numbered list (including folders). Copy a prompt by typing its numbers — for example, 2 1 means folder #2 → prompt #1.

Is there sync or import/export?

Not yet. AiNoter is currently offline-first and keeps all data locally on your Mac.
