What We Collect

AINoter does not collect personal data through the app. The application is designed to function entirely offline, and all user content is stored locally on your device. We do not use analytics, tracking, or any form of data collection services.

Where Your Data Is Stored

All data created and used by AINoter, including your saved prompts, tags, and folders, is stored exclusively on your macOS device. It is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers. You have complete control over your data.

Network Activity

AINoter does not initiate any outbound network connections for the purpose of transmitting user data or analytics. Any network activity would be initiated by the macOS operating system itself for its own functionality (e.g., App Store updates), not by AINoter for data collection.

Clipboard Access

AINoter accesses the system clipboard only when explicitly instructed by the user (e.g., to paste content into a prompt or to insert a prompt into another application).

Clipboard contents are not read in the background, stored, or transmitted off your Mac.

Keyboard Shortcuts

AINoter utilizes global keyboard shortcuts to enhance user efficiency. These shortcuts are processed locally on your Mac to identify when to activate the application or insert a prompt. We do not record keystrokes or send any keyboard input data off your device.

Third-Party Services

AINoter does not integrate with any third-party services for data processing, analytics, or advertising. The application operates as a standalone utility on your Mac.

Data Retention

AINoter does not collect user data through the app, so we do not retain app usage data. All your prompts and settings are stored locally on your device and are subject to your control for deletion or backup. If you contact us for support, we may retain support communications only as long as necessary to respond and maintain support history, and then delete them.
